History

Technical and Scientific Library of UTM was founded in 1964, with the founding of the Polytechnic Institute and is an integral part of the UTM infrastructure. The library is a member of the Association of Librarians of the Republic of Moldova, a partner of REM Consortium (Electronic Resources for Moldova), SIBIMOL (Integrated Information System of Libraries in Moldova), and collaborates with information centers in the country and abroad.

Its mission is to achieve informational and educational functions by continuously updating electronic and electronic collections, providing complex services and products, facilitating access to documentary resources, deepening the information culture of users.

Structure

The library has a complex structure: 6 central services and 7 branch libraries at faculties:
